I think I might be over Harry Potter! :(

You have a book series you love, it gets movie adaptions, your on a fandom high, you ride that high and then it's over. Well you think its' over but wait special editions of the books are released, more books and movies come, the fandom high begins again, then you just have had enough and sadly that's how I feel about Harry Potter.

I found my love for Harry Potter in my teens. I brought all the books devoured them and fell forever in love or so I thought. The movie adaptions came and went and they are some of my favourite book to movie adaptions. We get some more side books, Tales of Beetle The Bard, Quidditch Through The Ages and such , Harry Potter World and Harry Potter Studios where built the fandom was on a super high. Then Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Arrived, then illustrated editions came out, house editions came out, Fantastic Beasts appeared and my head officially exploded and not in excitement.

Where does it end? When does it all just stop? As a fandom Harry Potter has reached people around the planet, it's still reaching new generations which is amazing but I just feel it needs to stop. An extension of the Harry Potter world has been a hell of a fun ride but how far can you go before it waters down the magic that is Harry Potter and sadly I feel that the magic has slowly been eradicated.

I know its making billions and billions a year but it now just feels like how much money can we make out of this franchise . I know I will be in the minority and I understand that. I am open to all opinions, so I hope you respect mine. Lets chat in the comments below!

Blog Tour: #Review Bad For You by J.Daniels

Today I have a review of Bad For You by J.Daniels a contemporary adult romance. Check out my review below and thanks to Ink Singer PR for having me on the blog tour.

A Dirty Deeds Novel
BY J.Daniels

"If you're a fan of Kristen Ashley, then you will love this book." -Aestas Book Blog on Four Letter Word

He didn't want to be bad. He just didn't have a choice...

Shayla Perkins isn't the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean "Stitch" Molina. So when he gives her the world's biggest rejection, that's it--she's done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn't mean he's interested in her. Or does it?

Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he's paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected--especially from a man like Sean. He's tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.

Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give each other what they want most...is to let each other go?

"The perfect mix of funny, hot and heartwarming. I enjoyed it immensely!" --Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author, on Four Letter Word

E-Arc received for an honest review

Bad For You is the third book in the Dirty Deeds series by author J.Daniels. Its an adult contemporary that can we read as a standalone but you will definitely want to go back and read the other books to learn more about characters that appear in Bad For You.

Bad For You is a duel POV story between Shayla and Sean, two characters that I really liked. Bad For You had a slow start for me but once I got about 10-15% in I was hooked. Shayla our leading lady is a really quirky, upbeat, impulsive and a even chaotic character. She protects those she loves whether that is family or who she makes family. Once you got her she doesn't let go. At times being inside her mind was a rollercoaster. She cares so much for people, she can act first think later which can end up funny or goes terribly wrong.

Sean is a complicated guy , there is so much more to him than is on the surface. I really liked his story and was intrigued to get below his barriers and it was really helpful reading from his perspective.

The story was one of forgiveness, sacrifice, redemption all wrapped up in family and love. Overall I enjoyed my time with Shayla and Sean and look forward to reading more books by J.Daniels. 3.5/3.75 Stars

XO, Zach by Kendall Ryan spotlight

Check out all about XO,Zach below!

The first time we met was at a party.

Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.

I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.

The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.

The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.

I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it.

You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.

I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be your adviser and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too.

xo, Zach

Do you have blogging guilt?

Blogging guilt is something I have been thinking about for a while and thought I would share my thoughts to see if any fellow bloggers feel it as well. I started my blog 6 years ago in March and it was to share my love and passion for literature. At the time I was predominately reading YA and I loved sharing my thoughts and connecting with authors, bloggers and fellow book lovers. It was a hobby, it still is. I wasn't getting paid, it wasnt mandatory to post everyday, it was for fun, for my voice to be heard. But over the years I started to feel like I wanted to post less and less. And eventually instead of having a reading slump, I ended up having a blogging slump. Subsequently over the years I have had many blogging slumps but from the start I felt guilty when I didn't post. Sometimes I didn't know why I was feeling guilty other times I felt like oh no am going to lose the followers I have and then I would have to stop and remember its not for followers, likes and re tweets I started blogging, its for the love of books.

In the 6 years I have been part of this community it has changed in big ways. Publishers trust and enjoy working with bloggers, they listen to our opinions and thoughts. You can interact with some of your favourite authors on social media. Social media has changed. You now have bookstagram and different platforms like booktube. Bloggers have changed. Some have gone and new ones have emerged. Some have changed and adapted and moved on to different platforms. Change is inevitable its the way of life, the community is moving and evolving all the time and when I don't post I feel like am going to miss out on the latest book, the next fandom.

I still love my corner of the internet its a community full of support, love and sometimes drama, but I still love it. I don't want to feel guilty when I don't post I just want to continue supporting fellow book lovers and when I feel like posting hoping they do in turn. I want to share my passion for books when and how I want.
This is just some of my thoughts and I hope to share more of them in 2018 with regards to feeling guilty when blogging about certain books and genres but for now leave me your thoughts in the comments below. As a fellow blogger do you feel guilty not posting, as a reader do you actually care if a blogger doesn't post all day ever day. Let me know your thoughts!

The 2018 Book Blog Discussion Challenge is hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!  "This challenge is to help get us discussing books and book blogging, so talk about whatever you want as long as it’s relevant to book blogging. Discussions can be book related or book blogging related (or generally blogging related—no discussions about things that are completely off-topic like travel or fashion, etc). Discussions can also be about you personally if it’s a get-to-know-you type post."
