The Fault in Our Stars meets Eleanor and Park in this compelling, exhilarating, and beautiful story about a girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die.

Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister's recent death.

When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

This is an intense, gripping novel perfect for fans of Jay Asher, Rainbow Rowell, John Green, Gayle Forman, and Jenny Downham from a talented new voice in YA, Jennifer Niven.

Review:

I have been blogging for over 3 years and this is the first time I am scared I am not going to do a book justice in my review. The reason is because this book is so beautiful, there hasn't been words created yet to describe how incredible it is!

So what's All The Bright Places about:

All The Bright Places deals with mental illness, first love, and a guy, Theodore, who saves a girl, Violet, who learns she has many more wanderings to make!

If you follow my blog you know I only really read PNR I never read anything "real", anything that deals remotely with real life or has a serious issue. This is because in real life I don't deal with real issues, I avoid them which isn't healthy and I tend to avoid them in books as well. All The Bright Places is not only a beautiful, heart-breaking, heart-warming, unique love story it's real and that is what is so heart-breaking and incredible about the story.

There are thousands of Theodore Finch's out there and there; beautiful, smiling on the outside but hurting on the inside, scared, hiding and what they need is not to be labelled but understood and listened too. I felt so many emotions reading All The Bright Places. I was in tears at the end of the book it really touched my heart and I don't think I have read anything that has affected me so much in a long time.

All The Bright Places will always burn brightly and stay with me forever, and my wanderings will never be the same, again all thanks to Theodore Finch and Jennifer Niven!
